MRI Instrumentation Engineer

Position Summary:

With our growth in product development, and the recent merge with Nanalysis we are seeking an MRI Instrumentation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The MRI Engineer will report to the MRI Application Manager and support the broader RS2D team. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

•Participating in the development of new MRI prototypes and concepts
• Assembling, installing, and testing MRI consoles and systems on site or remotely.
• Technical support for the RS2D products
• Training clients and partners to use the RS2D systems and software at  their disposal proficiently
• Participating in the research and development of new features to improve RS2D products

Background and Experience Sought:

• Engineering degree or Ph.D. in Physics, Medical Physics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with experience in MRI engineering.
• Experience in MRI instrumentation and usage
• Problem-solving skills- including the ability to understand and address hardware issues.
• Experience and knowledge in electronics would be an asset
• Managing client relationships and the ability to work autonomously onsite or in the field is essential

MRI Engineer – Project Management and Research

Position Summary:

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the installation and usage of MRI equipment onsite and at client sites
• Programming MRI sequences on our hardware using our software (Java)
• Working with our partners to test and enhance the sequence’s image quality
• Developing MRI acquisition tests for RS2D and its clients
• Training operators to use sequences and sequence development software
• Participating in the research and development of new features to improve RS2D products

Background and Experience Sought:

• Engineering degree or Ph.D. in Physics, Medical Physics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with experience in MRI acquisition and pulse sequence development.
• Detail orientated project management, proactively pursuing  company set goals
• Autonomous, creative, and ambitious.
• Experience and knowledge in electronics would be a plus.
